The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2015 is coordinated by the leading British artist and influential teacher, Michael Craig-Martin RA. The hanging committee for the Summer Exhibition includes Royal Academicians Norman Ackroyd, Olwyn Bowey, Gus Cummins, Jock McFadyen, David Remfry, Mick Rooney, Alison Wilding and Bill Woodrow. The architecture room will be curated by Ian Ritchie RA.

Activating the Archive is an exhibition of Artists’ Publishing in the London borough of Hackney, presented by Banner Repeater at Hackney Archives. The Cut newspaper, commissioned by SPACE in 2010-11, is displayed alongside works representing a broad range of artistic practices that engage with the publishing process, including artists, artist-led groups, collectives and independent publishers working with artists.

Hoarding is an exhibition about public and private thought presented by Metal Peterborough. The exhibition is the culmination of a commissioned project by Metal for which Jessie made new work in collaboration with Sally Tallant and The Green Backyard.

A special preview is on Thursday 11 December and the exhibition continues until 22 February 2015. Jessie will be working with Metal again during her Time and Space Residency early next year, too.

The Foundling Museum

Artists' International Development Fund

In June 2013 Jessie Brennan was awarded the Artists' International Development Fund, a grant jointly funded by the British Council and Arts Council England.

The grant will support the research, development, production and presentation of new site-responsive work during visits to Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, and subsequent participation in the international exhibition Coup de Ville in September 2013, curated by Stef Van Bellingen.

Jessie Brennan is Contemporary Talents 2012 Winner (Drawing category) for her work The Cut. The François Schneider Foundation, France, selected her work from 3,176 submissions from 104 countries. Jessie is one of 7 winners chosen from 40 finalists.

The 7 winners of the €300,000 total prize money were announced on 16 May 2013. Their work will be shown at the François Schneider Foundation in 2014.

Art on the Underground, Edgware Road (Circle line) Underground station

Art on the Underground invites you to celebrate the launch of two projects: Wrapper, a new permanent artwork for Edgware Road (Circle line) Underground station by Jacqueline Poncelet and Everything Meets Here, a large-scale pencil drawing by Jessie Brennan developed from extended dialogue with participating groups: St Marylebone Society; users and residents of 60 Penfold Street; photography students from City of Westminster College and London Underground staff.

Everything Meets Here is on temporary display at Edgware Road (Circle line) Underground station and can also be navigated and explored in detail online at art.tfl.gov.uk
